Ginger Piersol, Voice, Piano, Music for Little Ones

Ginger came from the San Joaquin Valley to pursue her love of music at San Jose State University, where she completed her bachelor’s of music in music education with a focus in choral studies. She has been playing piano for 19 years and singing for just as long. Her interest in teaching music blossomed in high school, where her choir teacher inspired her to pursue teaching. Ginger enjoys singing in a choral setting and previously sang in San Jose State’s Concert Choir and Choraliers, traveling with the latter in 2022 to perform in the Western Region ACDA conference. She now sings with Peninsula Cantare.

Ginger has taught music lessons for 4 years and particularly enjoys working with students to develop and understand their individual learning styles. She believes that exploring music at any age has a profound effect on an individual’s self-confidence, creativity, and expression, and loves to foster that growth in her students.

Gymsters is a mobile physical education program that has been part of Bay Area public and private schools for many years. They specialize in working with children ranging in age from two to five. Gymsters provides children with a weekly 30-minute class. The session emphasizes the development of motor skills through fun, age-appropriate physical activity.
Each class contains three exciting activities, using bright and inviting equipment designed just for the students! The instructors bring years of Physical Education experience and knowledge, creating a safe and structured class environment. Students learn to participate with confidence and respect for others in a non-competitive setting.
Soccer Shots
Soccer Shots is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling, and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs, and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. They also use creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting all while highlighting a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork, and appreciation to help build a well-rounded athlete and child.
Outdoor Art
Our Outdoor Art allows students to develop and focus on their love to create, explore and imagine through different mediums, tools and colors. Creating art expands a child’s ability to interact with the world around them, and provides a new set of skills for self-expression and communication. Not only does art help to develop the right side of the brain, it also cultivates important skills that benefit a child’s development.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6)

St. Timothy’s Preschool students participate in Chapel every Wednesday morning in our sanctuary. Our chapels are filled with age-appreciated bible stories from both the new and old testament, fun interactive songs and creative ways for the children to memorize scriptures.
